I have taken screenshots and photos of all these scenarios. Let me know how I can share them here.
I tried connecting iphone to mac and it worked fine. Strange thing that i would like to highlight is that I have tried 3 usb cables just to rule out the cable compatibility issue. To my surprise, with cable 1, it didnt seem to work at all.
With cable 2, I could see connection confirmation tick followed by Android Device on XD application but nothing on my android phone. With cable 3, worked like a charm with no issues at all.
Please note that when I connected all these three cables, I double checked the connection status on mobile and made sure it is on MTP usb mode. New and returning users may sign in to UserVoice.
